In addition to day-to-day shift management and administration, Assistant Managers are responsible for:
- Working “hands-on” with the team
- Maintaining the highest standards of service, cleanliness and food safety
- Demonstrating a “guest first” approach always
- Hiring and training their staff
- Promoting their operation in the local market
- Coordinating in-store promotions
- Developing and meeting financial plans
Requirements
Previous supervisory experience * Passion for service and commitment to quality * Conceptual understanding of restaurant operational controls and financial statements * A thorough understanding of Food Safe and WorkSafe requirements * A proven record of training and developing a team * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * High energy and enthusiasm * Commitment to continuous learning and improvement
